The Omron F3W-D052C 5M Array Optical Sensor is designed to enhance error-proofing in bin handpicking operations. Featuring an emitter and receiver pair, this through-beam sensor utilizes infrared LED light at 860nm wavelength to provide precise detection across a sensing width of 100mm with 25mm beam gaps. The sensor offers a versatile sensing range from 1m to 3m in long mode, and 50mm to 1m in short mode, making it suitable for various applications.
With a rectangular sensing head housed in durable ABS resin and acrylic resin lens, the F3W-D052C 5M ensures reliable performance even in challenging environments. It is pre-wired with a 5m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The sensor supports both Dark-ON and Light-ON operating modes, providing flexibility in integration.
Designed for surface mounting with through-holes, the sensor is rated for IP62 protection, ensuring resistance to dust and water ingress. It operates efficiently within an ambient temperature range of -10°C to +55°C, making it suitable for diverse industrial settings.
