The Omron TL-W5MD1 2M Flat Inductive Proximity Sensor is designed for precise and reliable detection of ferrous metals. With a compact sensing head size of 18 mm x 10 mm x 30.5 mm, this unshielded, square-type sensor offers a sensing distance of 5 mm ±10%, making it ideal for various industrial applications. The sensor operates on a DC 2-wire power source and features a NO (normally open) operation mode.
Engineered for durability, the TL-W5MD1 boasts IP67 protection and oil-proof capabilities, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments. The sensor includes protective circuits such as output short-cut protection and a surge suppressor, enhancing its longevity and reliability. The operation indicator (red) and operation setting indicator (green) provide clear visual feedback for easy monitoring.
With a response frequency of 500 Hz and the ability to operate within a wide voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC, this sensor is both versatile and efficient. It can withstand ambient temperatures from -25 to 70 ℃ and humidity levels from 35 to 95%, making it suitable for a variety of industrial settings.
