The Compression Connector Tap accommodates a wide range of wire sizes, specifically for solid and stranded copper conductors. It is engineered for tapping into unbroken continuous mains and can serve as both a wire joint and a two-way splice. This product is UL listed per UL486 for applications up to 35 kV and is temperature rated at 90°C when crimped with appropriate tools. The design minimizes inventory needs due to its broad wire range-taking capability.

With a maximum tap size of 4 AWG and a minimum tap size of 12 AWG, this connector also supports a maximum run size of 2 AWG and a minimum run size of 4 AWG. The overall dimensions include a length of 1.25 inches (31.8 mm), a width of 1.25 inches (31.75 mm), and a thickness of 0.08 inches (2.03 mm).
