The RJ45 Cat 6A UTP Field Term Plug is capable of terminating 4-pair, 22-26 AWG, 100 ohm UTP twisted pair cables, ensuring backward compatibility with both Cat 6 and 5e standards. Utilizing TG style technology, the plug not only preserves cable pair geometry but also minimizes conductor untwist, thereby optimizing performance. This plug is particularly well-suited for installations involving devices like cameras and wireless access points.

Constructed from durable polycarbonate with gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts, the plug supports a maximum operating temperature of 167°F (75°C) and can function effectively in environments as low as -40°F (-40°C). Its design includes compliance with various standards, exceeding ANSI/TIA 568-C.2 Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA requirements, while also meeting upcoming TIA Modular Plug Terminated Link specifications. Additionally, it supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) standards, including IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and proposed 802.3bt applications.
