The Coupler connector ST-5ES1N8A9003S is engineered with a straight design suitable for both standard and SPEEDCON interlock applications. It features a total of 5+PE positions, ensuring versatility in connectivity. The connector utilizes socket-type contacts and is shielded for enhanced protection.
With a degree of protection rated at IP67, this connector is suitable for challenging environments. It accommodates cable diameters ranging from 5 mm to 8 mm, allowing for a variety of cable types to be used. The connection method is via crimp, facilitating secure and reliable connectivity.
This product is constructed to operate effectively in ambient temperatures from -40 °C to 125 °C and is capable of withstanding altitudes up to 3000 m. The materials used include GD-Zn for the housing and CuZn for rotating parts, with a nickel surface finish enhancing durability. The insulating body is made of PA 6.6, and the seal is composed of FPM (O-ring).
For electrical specifications, it supports a nominal current of 14 A and a nominal voltage of 630 V, with an overvoltage category of III and a rated surge voltage of 6 kV. The connector's degree of pollution is rated at 3, ensuring reliability in various operational conditions. Note that crimp contacts with a diameter of 1 mm must be ordered separately. Caution should be observed as connectors should not be plugged in or disconnected under load to prevent damage.
