The VIP power cabling front adapter facilitates connections to a variety of 40-position SIMATIC S7-300 I/O modules, employing 40 individual wires configured in a rope structure. This unassembled design allows for field connections, such as through modular terminal blocks, enhancing flexibility in setup.
Measuring 8 meters in length, this adapter supports a range of controllers including the SIEMENS S7-300 and ET 200 M, compatible with multiple I/O cards, such as the 6ES7 321-1BL00-0AA0 and 6ES7 323-1BL00-0AA0. The connection method at the controller level utilizes a plug connection that can be directly attached to the corresponding I/O modules.
Operating effectively within an ambient temperature range of -20 °C to 60 °C and a storage temperature range of -20 °C to 80 °C, this adapter is rated with a degree of protection at IP20. Compliance with standards such as DIN EN 50178 and IEC 60664 ensures reliability, with a rated insulation voltage of 260 V and a rated surge voltage of 2.3 kV for basic insulation.
Environmental compliance is also noted, featuring a 50-year environmentally friendly use period under China RoHS regulations, and the presence of lead (CAS 7439-92-1) in accordance with REACh SVHC guidelines.
