The Schneider Electric 8903L series offers robust solutions for lighting control within various applications. Available in both mechanically held and electrically held configurations, this device utilizes an electrically held mechanism to ensure reliable operation.

Designed to manage lighting circuits effectively, the contactor can switch loads up to 30A of fluorescent lighting and 20A of tungsten lighting. A key feature is the field convertibility of contacts, allowing for seamless transition from Normally Open (NO) to Normally Closed (NC) configurations.

This specific model features an 8-pole configuration with eight NO contacts. It’s equipped with a standard 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz interchangeable operating coil, although alternative voltages up to 600VAC are readily available for customization.

The contactor is housed within a NEMA 1 painted sheet steel enclosure measuring 12.69 inches in height, 7.81 inches in width, and 6.03 inches in depth. Coil and contacts can be easily replaced for maintenance or upgrades.

The 8903L lighting contactor is both UL Listed and CSA Certified, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
