The Schneider Electric Altivar Soft Starter ATS480 is a high-performance solution designed for starting and stopping asynchronous motors in demanding applications. It operates within a voltage range of 208V to 690V, providing an operational rated current of 62A. This allows it to handle motor loads from 15kW to 45kW, depending on the mains voltage.

The ATS480 is designed with digitization and connectivity in mind, meeting cybersecurity standards to simplify project execution and maximize application availability. Its torque control (TCS) feature efficiently manages acceleration and deceleration, while its dynamic braking and DC injection capabilities effectively stop high-inertia applications.

The ATS480 can be installed in-line or inside the delta to reduce operational current. Its embedded test routine simplifies commissioning within the delta. With dimensions of 190mm (width) x 247mm (depth) x 290mm (height) and a weight of 8.3kg, it is compact and lightweight.
