The ATV312HU55S6 is a 3-phase variable speed drive designed for controlling asynchronous motors with a rated power output of 5.5 kW (7.5 hp) and an apparent power of 15 kVA. It operates with a supply frequency of 50 to 60 Hz and supports a voltage range of 525V to 600V AC. Its compact design, with a width of 180 mm, facilitates easy installation on a mounting plate.
This drive is ideal for applications in materials handling, packaging, textile machinery, pumps, and fans. It features a jog dial navigation button and a bright LED 4-digit display for enhanced readability of key parameters. The device is equipped with a snap-lock seal and provides a status and fault display.
Compatibility with SoMove software allows for the saving and transfer of configurations to a spare drive, effectively reducing maintenance downtime. Additional features include a maximum transient current of 13.5 A for up to 60 seconds, and the drive supports output frequencies up to 500 Hz with an adjustable switching frequency ranging from 2 to 16 kHz. Protection is ensured with options such as overload and short-circuit protection.
This model complies with various standards, including IEC 61800-3 and IEC 61800-5-1, and is certified by DNV, CSA, and UL, among others. The device's IP protection ratings vary, providing varying levels of protection suitable for different installation contexts.
