The ATV32HU30N4 is a 3-phase variable speed drive designed to control asynchronous and synchronous motors in complex applications. It supports a power rating of 3 kW and operates within a voltage supply range of 380V to 500V AC, with a permissible supply voltage limit of 323V to 550V. This drive is suitable for various industrial applications including conveyors, hoists, pumps, and mixers.
With a compact 60mm form factor, the drive allows for efficient installation on mounting plates, enabling adjacent drives to be placed with minimal space. It features an integrated Class C2 EMC filter, a jog dial for navigation, and a bright LED 4-digit display for clear visibility of operational parameters. The communication capabilities include support for Modbus and CANopen protocols through an RJ45 connector, facilitating easy integration into existing control systems.
The drive's operational efficiency is enhanced by its adjustable switching frequency of 2 to 16 kHz, and it can achieve a speed range of 1 to 100 in open-loop mode for asynchronous motors. The unit includes multiple safety features such as thermal protection, input phase break detection, and short-circuit protection, ensuring reliable operation under various conditions. The ATV32HU30N4 conforms to multiple standards including EN/IEC 61800-3 and EN/IEC 61800-5-1, making it suitable for use in environments with pollution degree 2.
