The Altivar Machine ATV340 is a robust variable speed drive that can handle demanding applications. It's capable of driving both synchronous and asynchronous motors in open and closed loop control, with a rated power up to 22kW / 30hp and a voltage range from 380V to 480V AC.
This drive is designed to withstand harsh conditions such as vibration, shock, non-conductive dust, and high temperatures up to 60 °C. It integrates Modbus serial line communication protocols as standard and weighs 10.2kg.
The ATV340 comes with a wide range of features suitable for various applications including packaging, material handling, material working, and hoisting. It conforms to international standards IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 (immunity and conducted and radiated EMC emissions), IEC 60721-3, IEC 61508, IEC 13849-1. It is also CE, UL, CSA, and TÜV certified.
Accessories such as encoder interface modules, I/O expansion modules, communication modules, braking resistors, line chokes, additional EMC filters are available for this drive depending on the drive rating. The ATV340 is designed to be mounted in a vertical position (+/- 10 °) on a panel and is fully integrated inside Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Machine through DTM.
It can be configured, controlled, and diagnosed directly in SoMachine and SoMove software by means of the same software brick (DTM).
