The Schneider Electric Altivar Machine ATV340 is a robust, heavy-duty variable speed drive designed to handle demanding applications. It can feed 3-phase synchronous and asynchronous motors in open and closed loop control, with a rated power of up to 3kW / 3hp and a voltage range from 380V to 480V AC.
This drive is built for harsh environments, offering resistance to vibration, shock, non-conductive dust, and temperatures up to 60°C. It integrates Modbus serial line communication protocols as standard and features multi-protocol Ethernet embedded, including Ethernet IP and Modbus TCP communication interfaces.
The ATV340 weighs 2.2kg and has dimensions of 85mm wide, 270mm high, and 232.5mm deep. It is suitable for packaging, material handling, material working, hoisting applications, and conforms to international standards IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 (immunity and conducted and radiated EMC emissions), IEC 60721-3, IEC 61508, IEC 13849-1. It is CE, UL, CSA, and TÜV certified.
The drive can be mounted in a vertical position (+/- 10°) on a panel with four fixing holes. It is fully integrated into Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Machine through DTM, allowing for configuration, control, and diagnosis directly in SoMachine and SoMove software using the same software brick (DTM).
