The servo motor BMH is part of the Lexium 32 series, which encompasses a range of servo drives from 0.15 kW to 11 kW. This model features a maximum mechanical speed of 8000 RPM and a continuous stall torque of 2.5 Nm, making it suitable for various applications including packaging, textiles, and gantry cranes.
Equipped with a keyed shaft and lacking a holding brake, the motor is designed for efficient power delivery. It operates with a rated supply voltage of 480 V and supports a continuous stall current of 2.94 A. The product includes a multiturn SinCos Hiperface® encoder with a speed feedback resolution of 32768 points per turn multiplied by 4096 turns, ensuring precise position feedback.
The dimensions of the motor are 154 mm in length (without holding brake), 109.5 mm in height, and it has a flange size of 70 mm. It features two rotatable right-angled connectors for electrical connections and weighs 2.3 kg. The mounting configuration is compatible with international standard flanges, requiring four mounting holes with a diameter of 5.5 mm.
Notably, this servo motor is rated to IP65 and can be upgraded to IP67 with an optional kit. It adheres to international standards such as IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3, and has relevant certifications including UL and CSA. The BMH variant is specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the Lexium 32 servo drive, ensuring optimal performance in demanding automation applications.
