The servo motor BMH is a key component within the Lexium 32 range, specifically tailored for motion servo drives in machines ranging from 0.15kW to 7kW. It features a medium moment of inertia and is especially suited for applications requiring robust movement control.
With a rated supply voltage of 480V, this synchronous motor has a continuous stall current of 23.2A and delivers a continuous power output of 5.24W. The motor's design includes a parallel keyed shaft, measuring 38mm in diameter and 80mm in length, complemented by a holding brake providing a torque of 80N.m.
At the heart of its operation is a SinCos Hiperface® encoder with a resolution of 131072 points per turn, facilitating precise data transmission between the motor and the servo drive. This functionality ensures automatic identification of the motor upon startup, enhancing system integration. The motor supports an IP65 rating under standard conditions and can achieve IP67 with appropriate kits.
Dimensions for the BMH servo motor include a length of 250mm and a width of 190mm, with a centering collar diameter of 180mm and a circle diameter of mounting holes measuring 215mm. Weighing 20.5kg, it is equipped with rotatable right-angled connectors for electrical connections. The cooling system operates via natural convection, and the motor conforms to the international standard flange mounting support.
