This stepper motor, part of the Lexium SD3 series, is engineered for precise motion control. It operates with a 3-phase configuration, delivering a rated current of 5.8A and a supply voltage range of 34V DC to 48V DC. The motor’s specifications include a mechanical speed of up to 3000 RPM and a nominal torque of 1.5 Nm, ensuring effective performance in various applications.
Measuring 79 mm in length with an 8 mm shaft diameter and a centering collar of 38 mm, this unit has a smooth shaft end and is devoid of a holding brake. The design allows for a service life of approximately 20,000 hours, supported by a robust IP56 protection rating, making it suitable for diverse environments including the textile, food and beverage, and packaging industries. The motor is compliant with EN 50347 and IEC 60072-1 standards.
For thermal management, it employs a natural convection cooling system, and its operational parameters include an ambient temperature range of -25°C to 40°C and a relative humidity tolerance of 15% to 85% without condensation. The motor's construction features four mounting holes with a diameter of 5.2 mm and a circle diameter of 66.6 mm for secure installation.
In terms of mechanical capabilities, it can withstand a maximum radial force of 50 N at the first shaft end and 40 N at the second end, along with a maximum axial force of 100 N.
