The TeSys GV4 multifunction circuit breaker, rated at 3 poles (3P), 7A/690V, is specifically engineered to safeguard the operation of 3-phase motors within a power range of 1.5-3kW@400V. This advanced device integrates thermal magnetic protection with enhanced motor protection capabilities, boasting an interrupting capacity (Icu) of 50kA at 400V. The circuit breaker offers start-stop control via a toggle switch and facilitates connections for either bars or cables using lug terminals.
The thermal protection feature is adjustable through dials, allowing the setting current (Ir) to be varied between 2.9-7A with a selectable tripping class of either 10 or 20. The magnetic protection is set at 17 In. This multifunction circuit breaker also includes advanced protections that can be configured using a smartphone via wireless NFC, such as short time delay protection (Isd) with a setting range of 5-13 Ir, phase unbalance and loss protection, ground fault protection, locked rotor (jam), and long start. The device provides internal locations for additional auxiliary contact blocks (OF, SD) and voltage trip units (MN, MX). It can be externally equipped with 1 or 2 auxiliary SDx modules to facilitate alarming and fault differentiation.
The TeSys GV4 is certified under multiple international standards including IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine, and ATEX. It also complies with Green Premium standards (RoHS/REACh).
