The TeSys D contactor is engineered for integration into control systems, facilitating motor starters across a range of applications. This variant, with a current rating of 18A, is suitable for inductive loads and can be mounted on DIN rails or directly onto panels. It supports various horsepower ratings, including 5HP at 240VAC, 10HP at 480VAC, and up to 15HP at 600VAC for three-phase motors. Additionally, it is rated for 1HP at 115VAC and 3HP at 240VAC for single-phase motors.

When utilized with a 480VAC circuit breaker rated up to 60A, it achieves a short-circuit current rating (SCCR) of 85kA, and with a 600VAC fuse up to 40A, the SCCR can reach 100kA. This contactor features a built-in 42VAC 50/60Hz coil and includes both a normally open and a normally closed auxiliary contact, the latter being mirror certified. Connections are made via screw clamp terminals for both load and auxiliary circuits, allowing for ease of installation.
