The TeSys Giga high power contactor features three poles configured as normally open (3 NO) for effective operation in AC-3 applications, capable of handling up to 115A and 75kW at 440V. It incorporates a wide band electronic coil with a voltage range of 200-500V AC/DC, ensuring low power consumption.
This contactor is designed for rigorous operational demands, supporting a maximum operating rate of 600 cycles per hour and functioning reliably in ambient temperatures up to 60°C. Its mechanical durability is rated for 5 million cycles, providing enhanced longevity.
Included is a Local and Remote Contact Wear Diagnosis (CWD) feature, allowing for continuous monitoring with health and alarm indicators. The design facilitates the replacement of the switching module (main contacts) to extend the contactor's service life.
The device can be mounted in any orientation and allows maintenance without the need to disconnect cables or busbars. The overload relay can be directly mounted beneath the contactor. Connection options include bolted connections with a cable memory kit for power connections and spring terminals for control connections, both accessible from the front for rapid replacement.
