The TeSys Giga high power contactor is a robust solution designed for demanding applications, capable of handling up to 440A at 440V. It features a 48-130V AC/DC wide band low consumption electronic coil and an embedded highly reliable 1NO+1NC auxiliary contact block (17V 1mA). This contactor is designed for maximum operating rates of up to 600 cycles per hour and can operate in environments up to 60°C. It offers a high reliability and durability with 5 Mcycles mechanical durability, and local Contact Wear Diagnosis (CWD) as a standard function.

The contactor is compact, measuring 290mm x 185mm x 209mm (H x W x D), and can be fixed in all quadrants. It is designed for easy maintenance without removing cables/busbars and offers IP2x protection in the front face with shrouds conforming to IEC 60529 and VDE 0106. The contactor can operate in ambient air temperatures from -25°C to 60°C and can be directly mounted on a plate, with no derating up to 3000m altitude.
