This limit switch is a member of the XC Standard series, specifically designed to transform mechanical motion into an electrical control signal. The device operates with 1 NC + 1 NO snap action contacts, ensuring reliable performance with positive opening operation.
The switch incorporates a thermoplastic roller lever that utilizes a spring return mechanism, allowing for lateral approach in one or two programmable directions. Notably, the operating head moves in a rotary manner, enhancing its versatility. It is equipped with screw clamp terminals for electrical connections and features a tapped entry for PG13.5 cable gland.
Rated for IP66, IP67, and IK05 protection, this switch is durable under various environmental conditions. It supports a rated operational current of 3A at 240V AC and 0.27A at 250V AC. The conventional enclosed thermal current is 10A, and it boasts a mechanical durability of approximately 20 million operating cycles, with an electrical durability of 5 million cycles. The device has a fixed body made of plastic, with dimensions of 40mm (Width) x 60mm (Depth) x 130mm (Height) and a weight of 0.16kg.
This limit switch is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including packaging, materials handling, conveying, machining, and food and beverage processing.
