This sensor is a part of the XU series, designed for various detection applications including reference marks and small conveyor detection. With a 50mm nominal sensing distance and a fork design, it employs a through-beam detection system for precise operation.

It is equipped with a 4-pin M8 male connector for electrical connections, ensuring a reliable interface. The sensor operates at a rated supply voltage of 12 to 24 VDC and features reverse polarity protection, allowing for safe usage in various environments. It consumes a no-load current of 40mA and supports a switching frequency of up to 10kHz.

The enclosure is constructed from painted aluminium and polyamide/glass, providing durability with an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water ingress.
