The light block is a component of the Harmony XB5 and XB4 ranges, featuring a steady red light source provided by a protected LED. It is designed for direct supply and equipped with screw clamp terminals, accommodating wires of up to 1.5 mm² with cable ends or down to 0.22 mm² without cable ends, in accordance with EN 60947-1. The device is presented as a basic element and facilitates easy installation and replacement, connecting seamlessly to compatible illuminated push-button and selector switch units through clip-together assembly.
This product is distinguished by its IP20 protection rating, which safeguards operators from accidental contact with live circuits. It is constructed from durable plastic and exhibits high endurance, offering a service life of 100,000 hours at rated voltage and 25 °C, thus minimizing replacement needs and associated downtimes. With a current consumption of just 14 mA, it ensures efficient operation under various conditions, including an operational temperature range of -40°C to 70°C.
Additional features include a surge withstand capability of 1 kV, making it suitable for environments with high electromagnetic interference. Compliance with multiple standards, including EN/IEC 60947-5-4 and CSA, further enhances its reliability. The light block also meets environmental regulations, being mercury-free and exempt from certain harmful substances.
