The KTB FS 403020 S4E4 is constructed from stainless steel 1.4404 (316L) and is electropolished for enhanced surface quality. With an overall height of 400 mm, width of 300 mm, and depth of 200 mm, this enclosure is designed to accommodate various cable gland arrangements. Gland plates are positioned at the bottom, top, left, and right, allowing for flexible installation in diverse environments.

Designed for use in explosive risk zones, the enclosure adheres to numerous standards including DIN EN 62208, EN 60079 series, and IEC standards. It also meets stringent approval requirements such as CCOE, CE, and INMETRO, making it suitable for applications in the process, oil and gas, and chemical industries.

With a maximum payload of 48 kg, the enclosure is equipped with features like a welded-on M6 stainless-steel earth stud and continuous M10 earth stud for grounding. The structure includes four welded mounting feet with slotted and cross-shaped designs, ensuring secure installation. Operating temperatures range from -60 °C to 135 °C, and the protection degree is rated IP66 and IP67, ensuring durability in harsh conditions.

For cable management, the design allows various configurations for cable glands, accommodating multiple sizes including M12, M16, and M20, among others. The integral fixing is achieved through M6 inner thread stud bolts, enhancing assembly reliability. The access opening measures 370 mm in height and 270 mm in width, ensuring ease of use during installation.
