This Altistart 48 soft start/soft stop unit is a controller with 6 thyristors used for torque-controlled soft starting and stopping of three-phase asynchronous motors. It offers soft starting and deceleration functions along with machine and motor protection functions, as well as functions for communicating with control systems. It works at a rated supply voltage from 208V to 690V AC and up to 47A rating. Altistart 48 torque control enables starting without mechanical stress and smooth control of hydraulic transitions, with a single acceleration ramp making adjustments is quick and easy, whatever the load. It is suitable for motors with power rating up to 40hp (at 575V) / 37kW (at 690V) for standards applications and 30hp (at 575V) / 30kW (at 690V) for severe applications. It weighs 4.9kg and its dimensions are, 160mm wide, 275mm high, 190mm deep. It is designed for use in the most common applications for centrifugal machines, pumps, fans, compressors and conveyors, which are primarily to be found in the construction, food and beverage and chemical industries. It complies with IEC/EN 60947-4-2 standard and is certified CE, UL, CSA, DNV, C-Tick, GOST, CCC, NOM, SEPRO, and TCF. The Altistart 48 is connected directly to the Modbus bus via its RJ45 connector port, It can also be connected to Ethernet, Fipio, Profibus DP and DeviceNet networks via a module (bridge or gateway) to order separately. It is designed to be mounted in vertical position (+/- 10 °) on a panel, thanks to 4 fixing holes. Altistart 48 delivers high performance with its Torque Control System (TCS) for controlled starting and deceleration, an easy integration in enclosures and control systems. This range provides also continual improvement of your machine operation by reducing mechanical or hydraulic stress and limiting energy loss and temperature rise, plus more.

TeSys D contactors have been designed for perfect integration into control systems. They can be used to create motor starters for almost any type of application. TeSys D contactors are available in 13 contactor ratings for inductive motor applications up to 150 full-load amps and resistive loads up to 200 amps. This 50A inductive 3 pole IEC contactor can be mounted on DIN rail or mounted directly to a panel. Contactors have both Horsepower and Kw motor rating for international acceptance. Contactor is rated for 15HP at 200 to 208VAC, 15HP at 240VAC, 40HP at 480VAC and 40HP at 600VAC three phase. Contactor is also rated for 3HP at 115VAC and 7.5HP at 240VAC single phase. When used with a 480VAC up to 110A circuit breaker, this contactor can have a SCCR up to 100kA. When used with up to a 600VAC 110A Class J or CC fuse, this contactor can have a SCCR up to 100kA. Contactor is supplied with a 415 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. Contactor has one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact built-in as standard. The NC contact is mirror certified. Screw clamp terminals are used for load and auxiliary connections. An extensive line of accessories makes it easy to meet the requirements of most applications. The contactor is 4.80 inches tall, 2.17 inches wide and 4.72 inches deep. It weighs 1.87 lbs. Contactor is certified to UL, CSA, IEC, CCC, EAC and Marine standards. Contactor also meets the requirements of RoHS/REACh making it a Green Premium product.
