The AF38-40-00-14 contactor is designed with a four-pole configuration and is capable of handling up to 55 A in AC-1 applications and 11 kW in AC-3 scenarios. It operates effectively within a control voltage range of 250-500 V for both 50 and 60 Hz AC as well as DC operation. This model supports motors rated up to 11 kW at 400 V AC, while maintaining compliance with international standards such as IEC/EN 60947-1 and UL 508.

With a compact design, this contactor integrates built-in surge protection, enhancing its reliability in environments with fluctuating power supply. The AF technology allows for significant energy savings by managing variations in control voltage, making it suitable for use in unstable networks.

Further versatility is provided through its ability to be extended with additional auxiliary contact blocks, and its mounting options include both DIN rail and screw mounting methods.
