Festo DFM-12-100-P-A-GF

The Festo Guided Drive DFM-12-100-P-A-GF is a high-performance linear actuator designed for applications requiring precise and reliable motion control. Featuring a 12 mm piston diameter and a 100 mm stroke, this guided drive is equipped with elastic cushioning rings/plates at both ends to ensure smooth operation and reduce wear. The unit operates on compressed air in accordance with ISO 8573-1:2010 [7:4:4] standards, making it suitable for various industrial environments.

With a double-acting mode of operation, the DFM-12-100-P-A-GF offers a theoretical force of 68 N during the advance stroke and 51 N during the return stroke at 0.6 MPa (6 bar, 87 psi). The guided drive features a plain-bearing guide for enhanced stability and can be mounted in any position, providing flexibility in installation. It is also compatible with proximity switches for position detection.

Constructed from high-quality materials, including a wrought aluminium alloy housing and a high-alloy stainless steel piston rod, the DFM-12-100-P-A-GF is RoHS-compliant and designed to withstand low corrosion stress (CRC1). The unit is also certified for use in cleanroom environments (Class 6 according to ISO 14644-1) and can operate within a wide ambient temperature range of -20 °C to 80 °C.
