The Keyence FD-XA2 Controller DIN Rail Type Expansion Unit is engineered to extend the capabilities of your flow monitoring system. This expansion unit features a 4-digit 7-segment OLED display with output indicators and stability level display, ensuring clear and precise data visualization. The display refreshes at a rate of approximately 5 times per second for instantaneous flow and 30 times per second for discharge amount or accumulated flow.
With selectable response times ranging from 50 ms to 60 s, the FD-XA2 provides flexible integration into various applications. The unit supports multiple detection modes including instantaneous flow rate, area, pulse output, integrated flow, shot, error output, and bubble alert modes, making it highly versatile.
Designed for robust performance, the FD-XA2 includes power supply reverse connection protection, power surge protection, output short circuit protection, and output surge protection. It operates on a power voltage of 20 to 30 VDC and consumes 185 mA or lower. The unit is environmentally resilient, with an operating temperature range of -10 to +50 °C, relative humidity of 35% to 85%RH, and strong vibration and shock resistance.
Constructed with durable materials such as PC for the main body case and front sheet, POM for the key top, and PVC for the cable, the FD-XA2 ensures long-lasting reliability. The unit supports up to 7 expansions per main unit and is compatible with the NU series network.
