The Keyence GL-R80H Hand-protection Type Main Unit is designed to provide superior safety in industrial environments. Featuring 80 optical axes, this advanced safety light curtain ensures reliable detection of objects with a diameter of 25 mm or larger. With a total length of 1600 mm and a detection height of 1580 mm, it offers comprehensive coverage for hand protection applications.
The GL-R80H utilizes an infrared LED light source with a wavelength of 870 nm, ensuring accurate and consistent detection. The system supports both optical and wire synchronization, allowing for flexible installation and operation. The light interference prevention function ensures that up to two GL-R systems can operate without mutual interference, enhancing reliability in complex setups.
With a response time as low as 13.1 ms for wire synchronization and 19.2 ms for optical synchronization, the GL-R80H provides rapid and dependable performance. The control output features two transistor outputs, with a maximum load current of 500 mA, ensuring robust and versatile connectivity options.
Designed to meet stringent safety standards, the GL-R80H complies with IEC61496-1, EN61496-1, UL61496-1 (Type 4 ESPE), IEC61496-2, EN61496-2, UL61496-2 (Type 4 AOPD), IEC61508, EN61508 (SIL3), IEC62061, EN62061 (SIL CL3), and EN ISO13849-1:2015 (Category 4, PLe). It also features an IP65/IP67 enclosure rating, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environmental conditions.
