The Altivar 212 variable speed drive is an advanced solution designed for fluid management applications in tertiary sector buildings. It can handle 3-phase asynchronous motors and comes with a protection index of IP21, ensuring reliable operation in various environments.
With a rated power of up to 11kW / 15hp and a voltage range from 380V to 480V AC, this drive is designed for efficiency and performance. Its eco-energy design reduces energy consumption by up to 70% compared to conventional control systems.
The Altivar 212 drive features cable temperature rise reduction technology, eliminating the need for additional options like line or DC chokes. It weighs 6.45kg and has dimensions of 180mm wide, 232mm high, and 170mm deep.
This drive is CE, UL, CSA, C-Tick, and NOM certified, conforming to international standards IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 for immunity and conducted and radiated EMC emissions. It offers optional motor chokes for increased cable lengths and reduced disturbance at the motor terminals.
The Altivar 212 drive is designed to be mounted in a vertical position (+/- 10 °) on a panel, with 4 fixing holes. It can easily be adapted to all building management systems due to its numerous functions and communication protocols integrated as standard, including Modbus, METASYS N2, APOGEE FLN P1, and BACnet.
