The Schneider Electric Altivar 212 variable speed drive is a versatile solution for feeding 3-phase asynchronous motors. With an IP55 protection index and built-in EMC filter, it offers robust performance in demanding environments.
Rated at up to 1.5kW / 2hp and compatible with a wide range of voltages (380V - 480V AC), this drive is designed for energy efficiency, reducing power consumption by up to 70% compared to conventional control systems.
The Altivar 212's cable temperature rise reduction technology ensures immediate, disturbance-free operation. It weighs 7.5kg and measures 215mm wide, 297mm high, and 192mm deep, making it compact and easy to install.
This drive is specifically designed for fluid management applications in tertiary sector buildings like heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and pumping. It conforms to international standards IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 (immunity and conducted and radiated EMC emissions), and is CE, UL, CSA, C-Tick, and NOM certified.
The Altivar 212 offers optional motor chokes for increased cable lengths and reduced disturbance at the motor terminals. It can be mounted in a vertical position (+/- 10°) on a panel, thanks to 4 fixing holes. The drive is compatible with various building management systems via its numerous integrated communication protocols (Modbus, METASYS N2, APOGEE FLN P1, and BACnet). It is eco-friendly and complies with environmental protection directives such as RoHS and WEEE.
