The Altivar 212 variable speed drive is a robust solution for feeding 3-phase asynchronous motors. It boasts an IP55 protection index and comes with an integrated EMC filter. With a rated power of up to 2.2kW/3HP and a voltage range from 380V to 480V AC, this drive is designed for energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption by up to 70% compared to traditional control systems.
The Altivar 212's cable temperature rise reduction technology ensures immediate and disturbance-free operation, eliminating the need for additional options like line or DC chokes. Weighing just 7kg and with dimensions of 215mm wide, 297mm high, and 192mm deep, this drive is compact and easy to install.
This variable speed drive is CE, UL, CSA, C-Tick, and NOM certified, conforming to international standards IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3. It offers optional motor chokes for increased cable lengths and reduced disturbance at the motor terminals. The Altivar 212 can be mounted in a vertical position (+/- 10°) on a panel, thanks to its 4 fixing holes.
With numerous functions and communication protocols integrated as standard, including Modbus, METASYS N2, APOGEE FLN P1, and BACnet, the Altivar 212 is easily adaptable to all building management systems. This drive is specifically designed for fluid management applications in tertiary sector buildings like heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and pumping.
