The ATV320 variable speed drive operates with a power rating of up to 1.5kW and a voltage range of 380V to 500V AC. Its compact design permits vertical stacking within machine frames, optimizing space utilization. The unit is equipped to handle ambient temperatures up to 60°C without additional cooling, thanks to its robust construction featuring IEC 60721-3-3 class 3C3 coated printed circuit boards.
Designed for both synchronous and asynchronous motor control, the drive supports various control profiles including flux vector control without sensors and voltage/frequency ratio methods. This enables high dynamic performance and energy-efficient operation, particularly beneficial for open-loop synchronous motors. The device integrates extensive functionality suitable for a range of applications such as packaging, material handling, and mechanical actuation, making it ideal for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
Compliance with international standards including IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 ensures reliable operation in diverse environments. The ATV320 includes essential safety features, configured via SoMove software, and supports a variety of optional external accessories tailored to specific drive ratings. With dimensions of 105.0mm width, 142.0mm height, and 158.0mm depth, the drive is designed for wall mounting and facilitates integration into Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure environment.
