SMC has improved product performance and reliability with the redesigned SY series valve. The SY3000 and SY5000 have the same valve width as their predecessors, but the flow has been increased by up to 80%, allowing the valve size to be reduced. A built-in strainer in the pilot valve prevents trouble caused by foreign matter. By using H-NBR seal material for the main valve and seals, Ozone resistance has been improved. Side, top and bottom port/pipe directions are available to allow flexible installation. Series AV-A soft start-up valves allow the user to set the initial rate of system pressurizations to minimize system shock. When deactivated, the valve quickly exhausts the system for safe servicing of equipment.

The 5 port solenoid valves series SQ was designed for applications which demand high speed, high frequency, long life and a precise response time. The SQ uses cassette style valves and manifolds, making it simple to increase or decrease the number of stations on a DIN rail. Valves are available with 12VDC or 24VDC rated voltage. Actuation options include 5 port single solenoid, 5 port double solenoid, and dual 3/2 ported. Manifold variations for the SQ plug-in series include EX510 Gateway-type serial transmission system, D-sub connector, flat ribbon cable connector, PC wiring system compatible flat ribbon cable, terminal block box, or a lead wire kit. The SQ plug lead units are available with D-sub connector, flat ribbon cable connector or PC wiring system compatible flat ribbon cable kits.

The VX2 for water is available with brass and stainless steel body. Three body sizes are available, with port size ranges from 1/8 to 1/2 inch. NBR seal is used as standard and FKM or EPDM is optional. Flow rate ranges from Cv of 0.23 to 2.21.
