The Keyence GT2-H12 Sensor Head is a high-accuracy digital contact sensor designed for precise measurement applications. Utilizing the advanced Scale Shot System, this sensor head ensures absolute measurements with no tracking errors. It features a 12 mm measuring range and a remarkable 0.5 μm resolution, making it ideal for high-precision tasks.
The GT2-H12 is equipped with a two-colour LED operation indicator for easy status monitoring. It boasts an impressive IP67 protection rating, ensuring reliable performance in harsh industrial environments. The sensor head can be mounted in various orientations, with measuring forces of 1.0 N, 0.9 N, and 0.8 N for downward, side, and upward mounting, respectively.
Engineered for durability, the main body is constructed from die-cast zinc, while the indicator is made of polyarylate (PAR). The dust boot is crafted from NBR, and the contact points are made of SUS304 and SUS440C stainless steel. The sensor head is also designed to withstand vibrations and shocks, meeting IEC60068-2-27 standards.
This sensor head is suitable for a wide range of applications, including precision machining, quality control, and automated inspection systems. It operates efficiently within a temperature range of -10 to +55 °C and a relative humidity of 35 to 85% RH.
