The Schneider Electric Altivar Soft Starter ATS480 is designed for starting and stopping asynchronous motors in a wide range of applications, from 208V to 690V. It meets the requirements of heavy-duty operations with an operational rated current of 38A, catering to motors ranging from 9kW to 30kW based on mains voltage.
This soft starter is equipped with advanced features such as torque control (TCS) for efficient acceleration and deceleration. It also includes dynamic braking and DC injection capabilities, making it ideal for stopping high inertia applications. The ATS480 can be connected in-line or inside the delta to reduce operational current.
The embedded test routine simplifies commissioning within the delta. With dimensions of 160mm (width) x 203mm (depth) x 275mm (height) and a weight of 4,9kg, it is compact and lightweight.
The Schneider Electric Altivar Soft Starter ATS480 is designed to address process, infrastructure, and industrial machine applications. It conforms to IEC/EN60947-4-1 and is certified under CE, cULus, UKCA, CCC, RCM, EAC, and Marine certifications such as DNV, ABS, BV, and CCS.
This soft starter shares common display terminals, remote mounting kits, and communication modules with Altivar Drives.
