The TeSys Giga high power contactor is engineered for AC-1 applications, equipped with 4 normally open poles, supporting up to 275A at 440V. This device features a low consumption electronic coil operating within a voltage range of 200-500V for both AC and DC, enabling effective PLC output control. The contactor includes an embedded auxiliary contact block with one normally open and one normally closed contact, ensuring high reliability.
Designed for rigorous operational demands, it supports a maximum operating rate of 600 cycles per hour and can function in ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to 60°C. Mechanical durability is rated at 5 million cycles, offering extended operational life. The device includes Local and Remote Contact Wear Diagnosis (CWD) as a standard feature, providing continuous health monitoring with indicators for normal operation and alarms.
Installation versatility is enhanced as the contactor can be mounted in all quadrants, allowing for maintenance without the need to disconnect cables or busbars. The overload relay can be directly attached beneath the contactor. Power connections are facilitated through bolted connections with a cable memory kit, while control connections utilize spring terminals that are easily accessible from the front for swift replacement.
