ABB AF40-30-11-11

The AF40 series of contactors are specifically engineered to manage power circuits with a voltage range of up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC. These contactors are primarily used for controlling three-phase motors, as well as non-inductive or slightly inductive loads.

AF40 contactors come equipped with an electronic coil interface that accepts a wide range of control voltages, from 24 to 500 V at 50/60 Hz or 20 to 500 V DC. This feature allows for large variations in control voltage without the need for any additional components.

AF40 contactors are designed with built-in surge protection, eliminating the requirement for additional surge suppressors. They also offer a block type design with three main poles and an auxiliary contact block that is side-mounted on one side and front-mounted on the other.
