The PLG Close-Up Plugs and BR Reducers are designed to provide secure closure for threaded conduit openings. These components are classified as explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof, ensuring safe operation in hazardous environments. The close-up plugs facilitate the sealing of threaded metal conduit, while the reducers enable the creation of smaller openings to accommodate various installation requirements.

The materials used for these products vary by size; for sizes ranging from 1/2 inch to 1 inch, they feature copper-free aluminum with a natural finish or steel with zinc electroplating. For larger sizes from 1-1/4 inches to 6 inches, the options include copper-free aluminum with a natural finish or malleable iron with a zinc electroplate finish. The BR Reducers are constructed from copper-free aluminum finished with an epoxy powder coat or malleable iron treated with a triple-coat finish comprising zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat.

These components meet multiple compliance standards, including NEC/CEC certifications for Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C, D, as well as Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G, and Class III, ensuring their suitability for a variety of industrial applications.
