The NEC EBR 30, 60, 100 and 150 Amp Series features interlocked receptacles equipped with either a circuit breaker or a disconnect switch, ensuring safe connect and disconnect operations. These receptacles are designed for use in hazardous environments, classified under Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups B, C, D, and Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups F, G, alongside NEMA ratings of 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 7CD, and 9FG.

With amperage options of 30, 60, 100, or 150, the receptacles are compatible with voltages of 120/240/480/600 Vac or 250 Vdc. The devices support 3 or 4 poles and can accommodate 2 or 3 wires, offering flexibility in application. The horsepower ratings range from 1 to 75, catering to various equipment needs. Each model allows for different plug cable diameters, ensuring a secure connection.

The materials used include copper-free aluminum with an epoxy powder coat for the receptacles, mounting boxes, covers, and plug housings, while the insulating blocks are made from fiber glass reinforced polyester, enhancing durability and safety in demanding environments.
