The JBR Series offers 30 and 60 Amp Switched Receptacles that are engineered for use in hazardous environments. These receptacles are housed in flanged and bolted enclosures, ensuring durability and safety. With a hazardous area classification of Class I, Division 1 and 2 for Groups B, C, D and Class II, Division 1 and 2 for Groups F, G, they meet stringent safety standards. The dead front interlocked construction necessitates that the plug is fully inserted before the switch can be activated, minimizing the risk of accidental contact.

Wiring is facilitated by a terminal block within the mounting box, and a unique polarization feature prevents the insertion of plugs that are configured for different voltage levels. The receptacles are available in configurations supporting amperages of 30 or 60 and voltages of 240/480/600 Vac. They support 2 or 3 wires and can accommodate a frequency range of 50-400 Hz, with horsepower ratings from 7.5 to 30.

The receptacle housing and mounting box are constructed from copper-free aluminum with an epoxy powder coat finish, ensuring resilience against environmental factors. Additionally, stainless steel captive cover bolts, mounting feet, and hinges enhance the overall integrity of the product.
