The ATX ECDX Series customized welded steel enclosures are constructed from gray painted mechanically welded steel, featuring stainless steel hardware for enhanced durability. Designed to accommodate terminal blocks and components including control units, breakers, starters, relays, and meters, these enclosures can be tailored to meet specific requirements.

Particularly adept for use in classified hazardous locations, the enclosures are compliant with ATEX/IECEx standards for Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22, rated as Ex II 2 GD with an IP66 protection class and IK10 impact resistance. The temperature classification ranges from T6 to T4 for CMS Zones 1 and 2, and surface temperatures can reach between T80 °C and T130 °C (T176 °F to T266 °F). They operate effectively within an ambient temperature range of -20 °C to +55 °C (-4 °F to +131 °F).
