Produktbeschreibung
The EFS Series non-sealed tumbler switches are constructed to prevent arcing in ignitable environments during the connect and disconnect operations of electrical loads. These switches are suitable for use in classified areas where flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dust may be present, such as in chemical and petrochemical facilities, refineries, and various process industries.
Featuring a malleable iron body and covers, these switches are equipped with a nylon 6/6 handle for enhanced durability. An optional corrosion-resistant stainless steel nameplate mounting bracket is available, facilitating easy circuit identification without the need for field modifications. The switches are finished with a triple-coat process that includes zinc electroplating, chromate treatment, and an epoxy powder coat to ensure longevity and resilience.
These products comply with NEC standards and have certifications for Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G; as well as Class III, adhering to NEMA standards 7CD and 9EFG.
