The Intraground™ N1 and N2 Series control stations are tailored for deployment in corrosive settings. The N1 Series features non-factory sealed designs, while the N2 Series includes factory sealed options. Both series utilize a 30% glass-reinforced thermoplastic polyetherimide construction, complemented by Teflon™ coated stainless steel cover bolts and Mylar™ nameplates to enhance their durability against chemical exposure.

These control stations are equipped with a selection of push buttons and selector switches that facilitate remote motor control in hazardous locations, working in conjunction with contactors or magnetic starters. Additionally, pilot lights provide visual confirmation of electrical operations, ensuring functionality is easily monitored from both remote and local positions.

Key components include a copper-free aluminum push button upper barrel and phenolic lower barrel, combined with nylon plastic or neoprene buttons, depending on the model. The pilot light assembly is also constructed from copper-free aluminum and features a tempered glass jewel, while the selector switch operator mechanism utilizes a nylon cam and sealed phenolic contact block.

The modified operation of the three-position selector switches allows for flexible control options, including momentary and maintained contacts.
