The CLASS 3400 (H34) Smart Meter is designed for advanced energy monitoring in commercial and industrial applications. With the capability to facilitate dual protocol communications, this meter allows for simultaneous interaction with up to two energy monitoring systems, including Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Measurement & Verification (M&V) reporting tools.

This device includes an advanced 4-line LCD display with backlight, which enhances usability in various lighting conditions. The meter operates with a maximum current of 100 A and can be configured for either single-phase or two-phase operations.

With its compliance to ANSI C12.20 and UL/CUL regulatory standards, the CLASS 3400 ensures reliable performance. The operating temperature range extends from -4 °F to 122 °F (-20 °C to 50 °C), with a maximum humidity tolerance of 95% non-condensing. The enclosure is made of JIC Steel, providing durability.

This submeter does not include any current sensors but supports solid-core types and outputs a voltage of 2 V for sensor connections. Its communication capabilities include Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP/IP protocols, making it suitable for various integration needs. The optional expanded feature package provides built-in functions for load control and includes two pulse outputs (kWh and kVARh), enhancing its functionality.
