The Class 3400 (H34) Smart Meter is designed for advanced energy monitoring in commercial and industrial applications, featuring dual protocol communications that allow it to interface with two energy monitoring systems simultaneously. This includes compatibility with Building Automation Systems (BAS) for energy monitoring and billing programs, as well as Measurement and Verification (M&V) reporting tools.

For enhanced functionality, an optional expanded feature package is available, which incorporates built-in load control capabilities and two pulse outputs for kWh and kVARh measurements. The device showcases a large 4-line LCD display with backlighting for improved visibility and is equipped with RS485 and Ethernet communication options.

Complying with ANSI C12.20 and UL/CUL standards, the meter is constructed with a JIC Steel enclosure, measuring 6.5 inches in width, 7.8 inches in height, and 3.4 inches in depth. It operates efficiently across a temperature range from -4 °F to 122 °F and can handle humidity levels up to 95% non-condensing. With an accuracy of ±1% across its rated load range, the Class 3400 is a precise solution for electrical usage monitoring.
