The Diffuse Reflection Sensor with Background Suppression O5H500 offers exceptional performance with a very long detection range of 50 to 1800 mm. Designed for use in harsh industrial environments, it features a robust housing made of PA with a stainless steel bezel and TPU operator interface. The sensor's sensitivity is adjustable via teach buttons, and it includes a programmable light-on/dark-on mode for versatile application.

This sensor utilizes red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and provides reliable detection with precise background suppression. It supports a wide range of objects, including white, grey, and black surfaces, with varying remission rates. The O5H500 is equipped with short-circuit and overload protection, ensuring reliable operation under demanding conditions.

Compliant with EN 60947-5-2 standards, the sensor offers IP67 protection, making it suitable for use in environments with dust and water exposure. The operating voltage range is 10 to 36 V DC, and it features a PNP electrical design with a maximum switching frequency of 1000 Hz.
