The Locking Type Thermal Photocontrol is engineered for installation on light fixtures utilizing ANSI C136.10 NEMA receptacles, predominantly found in street lighting configurations. The locking design ensures swift installation and replacement, enhancing operational efficiency.

Operating at input voltage ranges of 120-277 VAC and 50/60 Hz, this unit includes a spark gap surge arrestor for superior protection against voltage spikes. It is suitable for various outdoor lighting applications, including street, parking lot, and landscape lighting.

With a thermal photocontrol mechanism, the device activates at 5 foot-candles (fc) and deactivates at 15 fc, featuring a sensor time delay adjustable between 30 seconds to 90 seconds. Its operational temperature range spans from -40°F to 158°F (-40°C to 70°C), making it resilient in diverse environmental conditions.

This photocontrol is constructed from durable polypropylene and is expected to have a lifecycle of approximately 5 years or 3650 operations. Additionally, it is certified by UL and cCSAus, meeting industry standards for quality and safety. The unit comes in a compact diameter of 3 inches (76.2 mm) and a height of 2 3/4 inches (69.9 mm), designed for easy integration into existing lighting setups.
