The Keyence EV-108U is a high-performance, unshielded proximity sensor designed for industrial applications. Featuring an M8 connector, this sensor offers a detecting distance of 4 mm and is optimized for ferrous metal detection. The sensor's robust construction includes a stainless steel (SUS304) case, ensuring durability and longevity in harsh environments.
With a response frequency of 800 Hz and an operation mode of normally open (N.O.), the EV-108U provides reliable and accurate performance. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -25 to +80°C (-13 to 176°F) and maintains its detecting distance with a temperature characteristic of ±10%.
The EV-108U is equipped with a protection circuit against reversed polarity and surge voltage, ensuring safe and stable operation. The sensor's enclosure rating of IP67 guarantees protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
Additional features include a control output with a switching capacity of 5 to 80 mA, a cable length of 2 meters (6.6 feet), and a vibration resistance of 10 to 55 Hz with a double amplitude of 1.5 mm (0.06 inches).
