The Power Distribution Block (PDB) facilitates safe cable splicing and the distribution of primary power into secondary circuits, meeting UL508A and National Electrical Code® requirements. This model is part of the MPDB series and is designed for applications requiring up to 30 secondary outputs, with the option for single or dual conductor primary inputs.

Constructed with glass-filled polycarbonate, the insulators provide robust protection and can accommodate a maximum operating temperature of 80 °C. The block is equipped with optional adder poles that can be installed without tools, allowing flexibility in configuring primary and secondary wire combinations. Each pole features a test probe hole for circuit checking, enhancing safety measures.

The rated voltage is 1000V for both AC and DC applications, with a short circuit rating of up to 600 kA for certain classes. The connectors are available in tin-plated aluminum and are compatible with both solid and stranded copper wires. This product is ideal for feeder and branch circuit applications, ensuring compliance with required spacing of 1 inch through air and 2 inches over surface for uninsulated live parts of opposite polarity.
