The SB aR fuse-link, rated for 690V AC and 700A, is engineered to offer flexible equipment design and effective protection for power conversion systems. This ultra-fast acting fuse-link utilizes a square body configuration and is available in various worldwide acceptable mounting styles, making it suitable for diverse applications.

The fuse-link features die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand, which optimize arcing characteristics, leading to a lower I²t value and a high interrupting rating of up to 200 kA. The melting I²t at rated voltage is noted at 76 kA²s, ensuring efficient operation under fault conditions. Additionally, the product dissipates 110W of power at its rated current, confirming its capability in handling thermal demands.

Constructed with ceramic insulating material, the fuse-link includes silver-plated copper connection terminals designed for DIN type blades. It can be equipped with a low voltage trip-indicator that activates a field-mountable microswitch, enhancing its functionality. This model, designated under the Protistor® product line, is suitable for applications requiring reliable protection of semiconductor devices.
